Masalah dalam
penelitian ini adalah “Apakah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan dengan
penggunaan metode modeling the way pada
materi pecahan”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode modeling the way pada materi pecahan kelas IV SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini
adalah kuantitatif. Metode dalam penelitian
ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian yaitu
penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing
siklus melalui empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan
refleksi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi, pengukuran, dan komunikasi
tidak langsung, dengan alat pengumpulan data yaitu lembar observasi, soal tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I dengan rerata 70,62%
(kategori cukup) dan siklus II sebesar 90,15% (kategori sangat baik) terjadi
peningkatan sebesar 19,53%. (2) Ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yaitu sebesar
84% (kategori baik) sedangkan hasil
belajar pada siklus II yaitu sebesar 96% (kategori baik) sehingga terjadi peningkatan 12%. (3) Respon siswa terhadap
penerapan metode modeling the way diperoleh presentase
total sebesar 91,44% dengan kategori sangat kuat. Penerapan metode modeling
the way pada materi pecahan kelas IV di SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan dapat meningkatkan
hasil belajar siswa.

The problem in this research is "Whether modeling the way method in fraction material can improve the students learning outcome in IV grade at SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan. The aim of this research is to determine of increasing student learning outcomes through modeling the way method of fraction material in IV grade at SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan. The approach of research is quantitative. Descriptive method is used in this research with a form of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles, each cycle include four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this research is the IV grade students of SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan. Data collection techniques used are observation, measurement, and indirect communication, with data collection tools are: that observation sheets, test, and questionnaires. The results showed that: (1) Activities of student learning on first cycle is 70.62% (sufficient category) and the second cycle is 90.15% (the excellent category) the improvement is 19.53%. (2) Complete classical learning outcomes of students in the first cycle is 84% (good category), while learning outcomes in the second cycle is 96% (good category) therefore the improvement is 12%. (3) The students response to the application of modeling the way method obtained a percentage total is 91.44% with very strong category. Application of modeling the way the method in fraction material of IV grade at SDN 15 SP 3 Pandan can improve student learning outcomes.
